Strategic Plan Implementation Strategy, June 2026 - July 2026
COLT’s Executive Director was committed to ensuring that their newly adopted strategic plan had the momentum and clarity to achieve success on their ambitious goals.
Kennedy-Wong Consulting developed assessment tools, evaluated project management processes and worked with staff over two days of retreats to design a roadmap to achieve their strategic objectives. The roadmap is outcome oriented, clear, actionable and effectively describes how COLT will continue to lead a cutting edge conservation agenda for Oregon.
Port of Camas-Washougal
Advisory Committee Formation and Staff Training, September 2025 - August 2026
The Port of Camas-Washougal wanted to design an authentic and effective advisory committee structure. Kennedy-Wong Consulting designed the Advisory Committee structures for Grove Airport and the Marina. Our work included committee design and recruitment, staff training on engagement, facilitation and commitee member training.
Essential to effective engagement was designing and delivering specialized training for staff on committee planning and agenda design, facilitation and effective engagement and communications.
Port of Camas-Washougal
Tribal Relation Training, March 2026
In collaboration with Donaldson Consulting LLC (an Indigenous and woman owned company), Kennedy-Wong Consulting designed and derived a tailored Tribal Relations Training giving staff the essential knowledge of Tribes in SW Washington, Federal Indian Policy, how to avoid cultural appropriation, Tribal Governance and Sovereignty and how to create respectful and mutually beneficial relationships.
Non-Profit Confluence, Program Chair, September 2025 - March 2026
Worked with professional colleagues to design a full-day conference for nonprofessional, consultants and staff to create collaborative solutions to challenges facing non-profit organizations - including staff burnout, co-creating activist spaces, legislative strategies and open spaces to explore emerging ideas.
Grant County Library
Special District Formation, September 2025 -February 2026
When residents of Grant County realized that funding for their library would be cut, they hired Kennedy-Wong Consulting to lead their efforts to create a Special Library District. Kennedy-Wong Consulting conducted focus groups, developed presentations for cities in the County, wrote resolutions in support of the Special District, implemented a robust outreach plan, wrote Legislative Orders, conducted the economic analysis and produced a ballot measure that was passed by Grant County residents in May 2026.
